Delays to and from London Victoria

Disruption caused by a passenger being taken ill at a station earlier today at London Victoria has now ended

Wintry weather may affect your journey from Monday 26 February onwards

There is a yellow weather warning for snow and ice across many parts of Britain for Monday afternoon, and all day on Tuesday and Wednesday in the coming week. Background information on how winter weather can affect the railway is available here.

A number of train operating companies have issued advance warning of possible service changes, or disruption to your journey:

Southeastern will be working closely with Network Rail to keep the rail network open and the tracks free of ice. But some disruption can't be ruled out, especially if they see some heavy snowfall. Their advice if you're planning on travelling next week, is please make sure you check before your travel.

Southern, Thameslink, Gatwick Express and Great Northern are saying that, due to predicted snow and icy conditions, they may be running a reduced or altered service from Tuesday morning. If this is implemented they aim to advertise this from Monday.

We will keep this page updated with train company announcements of possible service changes, and their travel advice, as the weather situation develops.
