Improvement works

From time to time, often at weekends or public holidays, Gatwick Express has to make alterations to train services, usually for planned Improvement works.

Engineering work is taking place between Purley and Balcombe, closing some lines.

As a result, Gatwick Express will run 2 trains per hour between London Victoria and Gatwick Airport.

Engineering work is taking place between Earlswood and Gatwick Airport, closing all lines.

There will be no Gatwick Express service in operation today.

Customers should travel on alternate Southern or Thameslink services.
